Fresno County is absolutely crushing our Walk to Mordor challenge!
As of May 24th (almost two months into the journey), here's our Fellowship's progress:
*113 have made it to Bree (34 miles)
*59 have reached Rivendell (129 miles)
*19 have reached Lothlorien (259 miles)
*8 have reached Rauros Falls (368 miles)
*2 Fresno County residents have made it to Mount Doom (500 miles!).
Can we have a virtual round of applause for these folks, as well as for everyone else joining us?
By the way, if you'd like to get in on the fun, there's still time! You have until May 31st to travel as far as you can and redeem your miles for commemorative milestone badges.
All Fresno County residents, of all mobility types/levels are welcome to participate.
Remember: this challenge allows for conversion of non-walking physical activities into "walking miles."
Also, did we mention that our Fellowship currently consists of individuals ages 7-69?
