Win it Wednesday: Ivy

Every Wednesday we will give away a new book. For a chance to win, just fill out the form at the bottom of the page and you'll be entered into a drawing. The drawing will run from Wednesday through 11:59 PM Friday and winners will be announced on Mondays. (Note: you must be a Fresno County resident to be eligible for Win it Wednesdays.)

Ivy by Katherine Coville

There once was a little girl named Ivy, who lived in the tidy town of Broomsweep. She shared a cottage with her grandmother, a chipmunk with the sniffles, a robin with a sprained foot, and other animals.

But Grandmother's cottage was not as tidy as the people of Broomsweep thought it should be. So when the new queen announced a contest to select the best town, the villagers grew alarmed. How would they win if Grandmother's cottage was overrun with wild animals and magical creatures like griffins?

Oops. . . Did I forget to mention the griffin?

Join Ivy, Grandmother, and some very special creatures, who prove that friendship and loyalty are what truly matter--even if it means putting up with a little bit of dirt and the occasional troll invasion. Oh, dear. Did I forget to mention the trolls, too?

Update: This book will soon join the ranks of Serenity M.'s personal library! If you didn't win this time around, don't despair. You can check out Ivy at your neighborhood FCPL branch.
