Storytimes at FCPL
There are probably more than 10 Reasons Why You Should Go to Story Time, but in her 2013 blog post Anne McKernan makes a pretty solid case for doing so: these outings offer moms, dads, and other guardians a break from routine and opportunities to socialize with other adults with children; they likewise instill an early love of books and reading by building kids' literacy and pre-reading skills and facilitating opportunities to learn how to interact with books and the library.
Fresno County Public Library hosts many storytime programs throughout the year and you are cordially invited to attend with your children and any you may be babysitting. Dates, times, and additional information about these events can be found on our calendar.
Children may also wish to come by one of our branches when the Tail Waggin' Tutors are visiting (please see calendar) and read a story to a registered therapy dog!
